Description
Berry – Blood orange – Herbs
This bright, light Xinomavro rosé offers a vibrant bouquet of wild strawberries, pink grapefruit, dried cranberries and rose petals. The palate is crisp and refreshing, balancing juicy red berry and blood orange flavours with subtle herbs, gentle cedar spice and a characteristically savoury finish. It’s extremely food-friendly and great to drink now or hang on to for a while.
Crafted by winemaker Apostolos Thymiopoulos, the wine is produced from young vines harvested in October in the southern Naoussa appellation. Nestled at altitudes between 180 and 450 meters, the vineyards are tempered by cooling summer winds from Mount Vermio, while three months of aging in large barrels imparts a distinctive creaminess without adding overt notes of oak.
Grape: Xinomavro
