Second Sun, from Leeds-based saucemaker The Spice Must Flow, is a vibrant pomegranate and mint hot sauce. Chopped tomatoes and a generous 22% pomegranate juice infusion deliver a deep ruby tang, dried mint cuts through the richness, while pomegranate molasses adds a further layer of complex sweetness. The heat is a slow, atmospheric burn – fermented Serrano mash provides the spark, while oak-smoked paprika and smoked Naga powder smoulder beneath it all.
