Description
This comes from 2.6 hectares of vines in the lower parts of Puligny-Montrachet and Volnay. It was made with around one-third whole bunches and 10% new oak. Charming and open, it shows spicy red and black fruit, with surprising weight and harmonious-but-refreshing acidity. There is a lot of cherry character, with fine but pronounced tannins. It is quite a serious wine for its level.
