Description
J. Gow is made on Lamb Holm, a minuscule, uninhabited Island in Orkney. This rum is made with a double distillation in a 2000-litre still. The inclusion of plenty of dunder (residue from previous distillations) gives a real depth of flavour. Overall, the spirit gives soft molasses notes, citrus, and some sweet oak on the palate; this is an excellent introduction to this tiny distillery.
