Description
Nestled in the Malepère region the Stricou estate is where Pierre & Antonin have planted their climate resistant grapes. The emphasis is very much on creating organic, eco-friendly wines. The bottles are some of the lightest on the market. The corks come from the Roussillon, their labels are printed in the South of France on paper made from alternative fibers: grape seed, flax and hemp. The glue is water-soluble, the ink vegetable-based and food-safe, the list goes on.
Tasting Note: A bright and vibrant fizz with refreshing acidity though not too tart. Green apples, a lemony tang and some stone fruit notes in the finish. A properly happy wine.
