Description
Description
This heavily peated whisky gives notes of bonfire ash, peat-smoke and icing sugar on the nose. A little time in the glass offers some vanilla, but the peated distillate is in charge here. The palate gives a pleasing whack of peat-smoke, which evolves into lemon zest, dried pineapple and new leather. Peat lingers on the palate, with a little more citrus appearing on the finish. Timmer gives Islay’s whiskies a thorough run for their money.
