Tasting Notes
Brewed using traditional Belgian abbey brewing methods, St Bernardus Abt 12 pours a deep mahogany-brown colour with ruby highlights and a creamy tan head. Aromas of raisins, figs, dates, caramel, dark chocolate, and sweet spice lead into a luxurious full-bodied palate. Expect flavours of dark fruits, toffee, molasses, roasted malt, cocoa, and subtle liquorice, balanced by gentle warmth and a smooth, velvety finish.
Belgian Brewing Excellence
Brewed using the finest ingredients and a unique house yeast strain, St Bernardus Abt 12 is bottle-conditioned for added depth and complexity, allowing the beer to continue developing over time. It is considered by many to be one of Belgium’s greatest brewing achievements.
