Description
High up in the Alto Adige, clinging to a cliff wall left behind by an ancient glacier, is the winery Terlano. The vineyards are owned by a myriad of producers, all with tiny plots, hand cut to form terraces in the crystal and rock strewn mountainside. These plots continue up the slopes reaching heights over 1000 metres. Here some of the finest and most long-lived white wines in the world are born. Intense aromas of ripe apples and pears combined with delicate woody nuances. On the palate is powerful but medium bodied with a gentle soft acidity with a lingering finish.
