Made from the Verdelho grape, grown right by the sea, this wine is aged in old barrels using an oxidative style, adding layers of complexity. Technically fortified, though only lightly.

Steeped in tradition, this Licoroso reflects the original winemaking style of the Açores but is now produced in very small quantities. It’s a true expression of its volcanic terroir, nurtured by the sea and the island’s unique climate.

Winemaker Bernado Cabral, who has strong family ties to the region, is continuing the legacy of these wines with passion.
