Description
Fre´de´ric held back this Musigny 2019 in the Domaine’s cellar, for it was evidently the longest keeper of the vintage. He wished to ensure that it benefited from necessary ageing in bottle, and to spare Musigny-lovers the frustration of opening a bottle to try, when it was far from ready. The wine has now been released, and we can report – from our tasting in November 2025 – that it has beautiful, garnet-purple colour, with spectacular, youthfully rich, spicily complex aromas. Palate shows perfect balance between dense structure, intensely creamy fruit and long-lingering aftertaste. This is a wonderful wine (for drinking – no hurry – from 2027-2040+).
