AS SEEN ON HOT ONES SEASON 29!
Funky’s Hot Sauce absolutely smashed it out of the park with this one, earning a prestigious spot on Hot Ones Season 29 and taking home the coveted 1st Place Screaming MiMi Award in the XXX Hot category at the New York City Hot Sauce Expo.
Inspired by a deep love for Thai cuisine, the makers have paired authentic, fragrant ingredients with brutally hot, fermented Dragon’s Breath chillies to create a sauce that delivers a mind-bending balance of intense fire and complex flavour. The profile is beautifully layered, built on a base of white wine vinegar, dragon fruit, and banana, spiked with fresh Thai chillies, galangal, ginger-like notes, and dried kaffir lime leaves. A splash of sesame oil adds an artisanal richness to the blistering Dragon’s Breath heat.
It’s an absolute powerhouse of a sauce that sends you straight into a state of flavour nirvana—always funky, always fresh, and unapologetically fiery.
