Description
Exclusively made from Chardonnay, the signature grape variety of the Maision, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs includes grapes from 25–30 different village (know as Crus), predominantly from the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims, the Sézannais and La Vallée de la Vesle. 20-30% of the blend is reserve wine, kept from a range of vintages. Bright, pale lemon-gold in the glass, aromas are intense with fresh fruit (ripe lemon, fresh peach) with complex hints of white flowers and ginger spice. Palate balances tension with roundness, creamily enveloping the mouth. The finish is long, delicate and full of finesse.
