Having spent two decades barrel ageing in the Dow’s Lodge, this 20 Year Old Tawny brings together mellow fruitiness with the complex characteristics from prolonged wood-maturation. Dow`s Tawny port has the House`s distinctive, drier style, with residual sugar of 80 g/l. Pale brown core to an orange-amber edge, attractive, nuanced, honeysuckle and butterscotch aromas combine with concentrated red berry fruitiness. Refined, medium bodied and silky-smooth on the palate, this has beautiful, concentrated flavours, fresh, mineral structure, and a long, elegant finish.
