Why You’ll Love It

This is classic Portuguese rosé from Bacalhôa (formerly Aliança), one of Portugal’s most respected producers. Made from 100% Baga, a grape variety indigenous to Portugal and particularly associated with the Bairrada region, this rosé showcases the variety’s vibrant acidity and fresh red fruit character. The grapes are sourced from selected growers working moderately old vines in clay and sandy soils. The brief maceration on the skins extracts delicate colour, while the gentle pneumatic pressing and cool fermentation at 16°C preserve freshness and youthful vibrancy. The characteristic gentle spritz and touch of sweetness make this an incredibly refreshing and versatile rosé.
