Unlike its sherry-matured sibling A’Bunadh, Alba (named after the white oak species Quercus Alba) showcases a different side of Aberlour’s character. Bottled at natural cask strength—typically around 58–63% ABV—it is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, preserving its full texture and intensity.

The nose opens with ripe red apples, honey, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon, creating a warm and inviting aroma. On the palate, it delivers citrusy brightness, baked apples and a touch of almonds, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel that balances its strength. The finish is sweet and lingering, with traces of toasted almonds and soft spice that fade gently.
