Nestled near the sea and planted in some of New Zealand’s oldest soils, the vines are exposed to strong coastal winds that slow the ripening process – difficult conditions for growers, but ideal for developing concentrated flavours. Sip solo as an aperitif or alongside spicy Asian cuisine, chicken dishes or fresh salads.
