Description
Rusden’s Christine’s Vineyard Grenache 2023 is a pale, fragrant Barossa red that celebrates old vine purity. It’s a must own for those seeking aromatic, medium bodied Grenache from a sandy soil site.
This Grenache stands out for its lifted red fruit perfume. Perfect for fans of European style Grenache and summer sipping.
Winemaking: Grenache vines from Christine’s favourite block grow on deep sand. Hand picked fruit is destemmed, then has a five day cold soak, wild yeast fermentation, gentle basket pressing and maturation for 12 months in old oak for texture.
Pairing Suggestions: Tapenade topped crostini, herb roasted chicken, chargrilled vegetables.
Tasting Note: Medium bodied with aromas of red cherries, lavender and baking spice. The palate is long and fresh, with fine tannins and balanced acidity that invite another sip.
Origin: Barossa Valley, Australia
Alcohol: 13.5%
Blend: Grenache
