Aliquid Novi Pinotage 2022 is a captivating expression of resilience and innovation from the legendary Perold Vineyard. The name, derived from Pliny the Elder’s adage “ex Africa semper aliquid novi” (something new always comes out of Africa), perfectly captures the wine’s spirit of reinvention and discovery.
With only 1,000 bottles released annually, each purchase supports the Protégé Programme, reinforcing their pledge to nurture future talent while honouring time-honoured viticultural methods.
Hand-harvested from vines meticulously cultivated in a half-moon pattern, the grapes of Aliquid Novi are carefully selected and processed to preserve their delicate complexity.
