The Syrah thrives at 300m in Franschhoek’s cool valley. Hand-harvested grapes underwent wild fermentation, gentle extraction and barrel maturation in French oak, preserving the grape’s purity and spice.
Tasting Note: Beautiful aromas of fresh violets, white pepper, red fruit and black cherry with a whiff of spice. Full bodied wine with elegant fine tannins. Mineral with vibrant fruit and spicy flavours. Dark chocolate combines with darker fruits to provide a long lingering finish.
Pairing Suggestions: Perfection with your granny’s roast chicken with sage stuffing, Asian-spiced seabass or Pata Negra ham with manchego cheese.
