Description
Petit Arvine is a traditional Swiss variety grown in Valais and is perhaps the most acclaimed obscure grape variety in the world if we judge by the number of medals in major competitions.
Whole bunches of grapes are gently pressed and the juice racked off and fermented under controlled temperatures. Partial malolactic fermentation adds a creamy edge while preserving the freshness.
Tasting Note: A luminous golden hue. A notable Petite Arvine aroma of citrus and rhubarb. An energetic, crisp first impression transitions to velvety citrus flavours, with an alluring complexity. A saline fresh, mineral finish.
Origin: Valais, Switzerland
Blend: Petit Arvine
