This rich and expressive rum opens with enticing aromas of bruised apple and a hint of tar. The nose displays eminent promise, developing aromas of overripe plum with earthy and smoky notes. There is a delightful burst of ripe berry fruits on the palate, particularly raspberry and blackcurrant. Hints of tar and lingering fruit flavours come together with a suggestion of red grape tannin. This rum is beautifully balanced with plenty of delicious fruit flavours carried throughout its long finish.
