Matured in a carefully selected combination of oak casks, this whisky reflects the colour and warmth of the festival, presented in packaging adorned with vibrant pink tones symbolising celebration and remembrance. The colour in the glass is a striking marigold hue, echoing the flowers that guide souls during the Day of the Dead. On the nose, sugared pan de muerto bread, creamy vanilla and sweet pineapple intertwine with fragrant marigold and a hint of fresh green coriander.
The palate delivers intense sweetness with flavours of orange oil, chocolatey Mexican mole and charred pineapple, culminating in a finish that is sweet yet subtly smoky, with delicate notes of charred coals that linger beautifully. The interior artwork by illustrator Alfredo Rios celebrates the festival’s cultural symbols — marigolds, mariachis, flowers, birds and animals — representing remembrance, music and the cycle of life.
