Loch Lomond Distillery, originally founded in 1814, was re-established in 1964. Loch Lomond uses unique straight-neck pot stills, allowing for greater control over the distillation process and resulting in distinctive flavour profiles. The Remarkable Stills series, a testament to this unique setup, is a rare find. Originally distilled in 1974, it has been matured in refill American oak, first-fill Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximenez cask. Only 200 bottles were ever produced, each presented with an engraved cork, a copper label and a hand-made oak box.
